Multiplier Events of the Inclusive Sport European Model Were Held

In the last two months of the EU Join Us project, the partner organizations in their respective countries organized dissemination events with a total participation of 274 people. The purpose of these events was to promote inclusive practices and success stories in the field, share the project’s impact and results, and encourage wider audiences to take action.

The dissemination event held in Portugal by Federação Portuguesa de Hóquei and Pais21 Down Portugal was attended by 82 people.

In Türkiye, the dissemination event organized by the Down Syndrome Association of Türkiye and Kırıkkale University had 85 participants.

In Spain, the event held by Down España and Universidad Pontificia Comillas saw 43 participants.

In Italy, the dissemination event organized by Capitolina Onlus and Associazione Italiana Persone Down had 64 participants.

During these events, the activities carried out throughout the project were presented, and the results achieved for the target audience were shared. These events, bringing together NGOs, sports clubs and federations, sports coaches, sports academy students, special education experts and students, and other stakeholders, have been an important occasion for promoting the European Inclusive Sports Model, ensuring its sustainability, and encouraging new collaborations.
