The fourth and closing meeting of the EU Join Us project, an EU-funded initiative developed to create a model for inclusive sports practices with a focus on individuals with Down syndrome, was hosted by Down España in Madrid. 

The project, led by Down España, was attended by Türkiye  Down Syndrome Association, Associazione Italiana Persone Down, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Capitolina Onlus, Federação Portuguesa de Hóquei, PAIS 21, and Kırıkkale University. 

During the meeting, representatives from each partner country presented the current status and outcomes of inclusive sports activities in their respective countries, and the impacts of all the activities carried out throughout the project were shared. Through the activities conducted during the project: 

The success of the project has increased the participation of individuals with Down syndrome in sports and contributed to the spread of an inclusive sports culture. This closing meeting brought together the project partners once again to celebrate these achievements.
